Kiko Mizuhara and photographer Monica Motegi. A photo exhibition "DREAM BLUE" by two people who are two best friends. How was the number of special photographs that say it was a miracle moment born? We spoke to two people who came to Shinsaibashi PARCO.

It began five years ago. Kiko had been staying in LA for a long time. My best friend photographer Motegi and Kristen, who lives in LA, decided to go on a trip, not as a work, but just as a companion who can forgive, just go on a trip to take pictures while playing freely and freely.

"I got into a car and ran freely with three people, arranged on the spot, and continued shooting for three days. "It's so beautiful now! If you'd like to stop the car and say, "How about these clothes on this theme? "I went on a journey with ideas like that. I didn't think deeply about something. Just enjoy shooting and traveling with these three people. When the photo is completed, "It's good, but it's finished! I'm glad! "It was a nude, and it wasn't a situation where I could put it out right away, so let's leave it for now. That's why I really took it as a "travel record" and it was an extension of play for us, and of course there was no stress. I didn't feel like work at all." (Kiko Mizuhara)

"When I think about it now, I think that the sense of 'not work' was very pure and special. If you're trying to make a photo book first, you'll probably think about it from the business, and what you need to do is precede than what you want. On this trip, I went to Sierra Nevada, California, where I was visiting several times, and I just wanted to take my loved friends." (Motegi Monica).

It is easy to imagine that it was a very dense time in a short trip of three days, if you look at a number of special photographs. After leaving such a miracle moment in the record of photography, the situation of the world changed completely. The position and situation in each place will change, and the feelings will change.

"I was talking with Monica that I would definitely want to bring it to the world someday, and I've been warming up all the time. In the meantime, Monica moved to New York and I was at a turning point, and although there were various things, there was a COVID-19 outbreak and the situation of the world changed completely. At that time, when I saw this photo again, I realized again that such a free moment was very precious. That time is all free, very special, and in a sense, luxury. It's a pure mind, and each one created as a professional. That's why I think we should take this picture to the present world." (Kiko Mizuhara)

"I'm planning to do that again now, but I can't do it in that sense. I was just moving in a sense to take a good picture, and when I saw it over time, there was a lot of freedom there. There was a desire to bring it out to the world someday, but I think it was natural to have this timing." (Motegi Monica)
