“kolor” spins the past, present, and future

In the fall and winter of 2025, "kolor" reached a major milestone in the last collection designed by designer Junichi Abe. This season, presented as the “final chapter” of his creation, which has been running for nearly 20 years, creates a unique time axis by precisely interlacing the archives from the time of the brand's founding and the elements that will lead to the mode of the future.
The elements of the coat and blouse used in the collection that Mr. Abe has worked on so far are alive again in the look of this season, and by adding new materials and patterns to the details, <old / now / future> coexist in a single look. Through reinterpretation of the archives, the essence of kolor emerged.

The silhouette is kolor-like multilayer layered layering. The contrast between different materials, such as a coat with boa and a gile set under Chester, creates a three-dimensional effect. The elements of trad, preppy, work, and outdoor are reinterpreted with the unique sensibility of Mr. Abe, who is free and sharp, and are finished with high precision as a “mode for wearing”. In addition, there are plenty of items that can be used realistically, such as voluminous puffer jackets, trench coats, and lightweight blousons. Even though it was the last collection, the core of kolor, "clothes living in everyday life", was once again vividly shown.

The hustle and bustle of the city of Shinsaibashi, Osaka, sinks far away, and the cool temperature of the autumn breeze stands out. In such a fashion shooter held in a clear place as close as the night sky, actor Hiroshi Iwase wore a neat look of kolor 2025AW.

The coat, which stands out beautifully with the roundness of the shoulders and the feeling of fall, is impressive with a modest Herringbone pattern that gives a somewhat traditional mood. Classic and modern resonate quietly, giving a calm presence that gives a bird's-eye view of urban nights. The shirt on the inner layer is accented with colorful kolor-like lace-like details.

Bottoms draws an urban silhouette with moderate space and straight lines, and the soft tone of Mocha brings the whole light together. In addition, the combination of shoes of the same color creates a sense of unity, and the brand-specific "tunning" stands quietly in the neutral color scheme. The characteristic of kolor is that even if you put it together in minimalism, you will not be able to land safely. The texture of the material and the skillful detail work create a casual three-dimensional feel, and enhance the individuality of the wearer.

Shinsaibashi PARCO celebrated its 5th anniversary. Among them, the kolor Shinsaibashi PARCO store was designed by architect Makoto Tanijiri (SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE). The store, which is second largest after the Minamiaoyama store in Tokyo, is laid out with stripped wall materials, steel frames, unmanufactured cables, and green carpets, which are rare for brands, and the interior of the store, where roughness and sophistication coexist, looks as if the philosophy of kolor, which finds beauty between the design and the “between” of materials.

In such a store, Iwase-san wears a 2025AW item for a shop cruise. The khaki wool coat through the sleeves incorporates a "comfort" design that dares to reveal stitches that should originally be hidden in a classic mood. The elaborate play stands out as a personality of kolor.
“I thought this coat was cute. I don't usually wear it, so it was fresh," says Iwase. By pairing with the expressive knit of the knitted fabric, the delicate mood that breathes in his back is naturally drawn out.

In commemoration of the 5th anniversary of Shinsaibashi PARCO, limited items will also appear from kolor. One is a 2-way accessory that can be used as a necklace or as a wallet chain. It features elaborate chain work and playful charm like kolor, which adds an accent to a simple style. The other is a limited model of fur slippers, which was popular in the collection. The soft fur texture and light form are attractive, making it a seasonless pair that can be used for both indoor and mile.

"When I was in the second grade of high school, I went to Tokyo alone. I decided to go to Tokyo by myself. Because you were an only child, or independence.…You may have felt a lot. It was at that time that the will of "Let's do this." He started working as an actor around 19 years old. At the scene where the first serial drama appeared, I couldn't swallow the air yet, and I had a lot to learn, and at the same time I also experienced a very disappointing feeling. But after that, I think it’s been a good thing to do now.”

In the drama "Occupy New Airport" that appeared the following year, he appeared with a monkey mask on the third episode, and when he revealed his real face, he suddenly talked about "too beautiful". With the response as a tailwind, he played the first starring role in "Takara no Biidoro", and performed five dramas last year alone, including "Minami-kun is a lover!" That's what he's doing for the first time this year.
"For the first time, I've been playing together with my favorite actor who has always wanted to play with me. You'll be really polite for me……It was the first time that the show was fun.”

It took me a long time to be able to say, "I like the play."
"It's not surprisingly easy to say that you like what you like. It is the first time that you realize that you are doing it. It took me two years to get that feeling. I want to take care of that feeling within myself.”

After passing through regret and hesitation, I finally came to feel "fun". It must be a certain joy that I can sincerely affirm what I express in my accumulated time.
