―The Creator's Talk Session will be our first initiative. The three founders of the project are participating, so I would like to hear a lot of stories. What kind of work is "point", a producer and first director's work?
Abe: I made it like a road movie with the theme of "How the two people who cannot communicate with each other." There is no particularly intense production, but I hope you can see the gradation. Takayuki's "The Little Star" was a very intense movie.
Yamada: There was no intense production, but after watching it, I said, "There was so much I wanted to say Abe-chan."
Abe: I wish I had felt that way. I thought I would say everything I usually think through this movie.

―What is the story of “The Little Star”?
Yamada: There are many action scenes as images, so there is a sense of speed. Also, I think that it is easy to understand through all the works in the story.
Shimogyo: The director said, "This is not an action movie."
Yamada: That's right. It's not an action movie just because there are many scenes with movement. What is the definition of action movie in the first place?
Ito:……If blood flows, an action movie?
Abe: No, it won't be an action movie because blood flowed once (laughs)
Yamada: Well, the highlight of the work is not action, but a part of the change in human feelings about how people live after they despair. Also, what I use for the theme is the kidnapping of children, which raises a problem for the world.

―As a producer, how did you participate in the "point" scene?
Shimogyo: Originally, I think that the script was written assuming a sunny scene, but it was raining all the time during the shooting period……。
Abe: It was like a storm. It felt like I couldn't walk outside.
Shimogyo: But it was clear only when I filmed the last scene, and I thought Shinnosuke Abe was a person who had it.
Yamada: Speaking of which, it seems that the shooting of "Day and Night" suddenly falls heavy snow. If Abe is there, the weather will be rough.
Abe: Takayuki helped me remove the snow. It was hard, but wouldn't it be a spice of the movie? Mr. Shimogyo was a producer in an overcrowded schedule, but it was a difficult position to produce. However, it was always helpful for me to excite the scene with great tension.
Yamada: Oh! We have a lot of customers today, so please talk better.
(All laugh)

―What was the reason why the Mirrorriar Firms started?
Ito: Originally, I created a platform for actors and actors called "MIRRORLIAR", so I started with the story of "Let's do a project to make movies instead of auditions". From there, the concept is to create an environment where everyone, regardless of their profession or experience, can express their movies. As a result, not only directors and actors who agreed with that thought, but also the general public challenged me.
Yamada: There were 419 groups from the general public recruitment. Probably, I think that the perspective of the movie that I had seen as an entertainment until now will change due to the challenge of production.

Abe: It was hard to narrow down to 12 sets, but there were also works with very interesting ideas. Also, I'm very happy that this kind of reaction came back to what we sent, and I'm deeply moved to think that it was a catalyst for film production.
Ito: It was a difficult task to sort a short story into a single piece, but it was fun. By the way, this time, it seems that there is a reputation in order.
Yamada: No, who thought it?……。
Ito: This time……Well, it's not Mr. Yamada (laughs). We all thought and finally decided on Mr. Yamada's opinion. This time Mr. Yamada came down a lot, I was inspired.
Yamada: Abe-chan's work is clear and it's a road movie, so I said it was just right at the entrance, so I put it in the early stage.
Abe: When I haven't warmed up in the early days, I sometimes leave it when a work with a fast tempo comes, so I thought it would be good to enter a slow "point" entrance.

―Shimogyo also participated in the work of Kou Shibasaki, who was the first director this time, as a producer.
Shimogyo: I was very worried about making the theme of what I could take to make the work I wanted to express. However, after the theme was decided, it was so smooth that I couldn't think of the first director from production preparation to site and editing.
Ito: It was a partition and determination that I had taken about 10 photos so far. Since I am an actor who has experienced many scenes, I was very good at communicating the images I wanted to take to the staff and actors. After that, I had the impression that I was able to communicate with Mr. Shimogyo in a very good way.

Yamada: You said that you would like to try a feature-length work with this work as well. I am very happy that the number of creators is increasing in this way. He was also the first director, but how was he? It seems that the theme was decided quite early.
Abe: At first, I was thinking about SNS and so on, but as I delve into it, I settled into a universal theme of communication. But it took me the most time to figure out what I wanted to shoot.
Ito: The main communication is the era of SNS, but if you try to express it in a movie, it will become a picture of the screen of a smartphone. After all, the screens and letters don't make much impression, so I think Abe's movie was very good.
Yamada: Do you want to shoot next time?
Abe: I would like to take a picture, "Is this effort in 15 minutes?"……If you think about it, it's a good idea (laughs). But it was really fun, so I will continue to be an actor or director.……You want to be involved in the film.
