Matsuyama: One more thing, I would like to talk about AI technology from our Okawara people.

Okawara: Nice to meet you. My name is Okawara, who works with Matsuyama. Now, what do you think of AI technology?

Yamada: What I saw on TV was an AI-powered security camera that analyzes how to walk and identifies people with 90 percent chances. Well, it doesn't work for me because I change the way I walk.

Okawara: It's a rock (laughs). But Intel's OpenVINO tool we're introducing today is close to that. To put it simply, it is possible to use various AIs in an optimized form with a single computer.

Okawara: What is reflected on the camera is called object recognition technology, and in the past, it was processed after shooting to apply CG and effects. However, this tool can be analyzed and processed in real time.

Ito: For example, if you program me not to show me, it will disappear from the screen?

Okawara: That's exactly right.

Yamada: It's very convenient. If you recognize only the performers, you will not need to stop by people passing by on location and shoot. 。

Ito: It's amazing, you don't have to stop the hardest people.

Okawara: In fact, we performed an AI installation that analyzes human beings when we held a screening of the first season in Kanazawa last year. Let's take a look at the MV created before using this technology.

Okawara: Applying effects on the images shown is a technology that has existed in the past, but with the evolution of technology, it has become possible to process effects in real time. As a result, it is now possible to proceed with production while checking on site, and the quality of creatives has improved.

Shimogyo: Can you even make a live video like an MV?

Matsuyama: As the number of live streams is increasing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I think that it will be possible to produce unique productions using technology in the future.

Yamada: It means that you will be able to enjoy a different way of enjoying live and distribution. If that happens, the appeal of distribution seems to be even better than it is now.

Okawara: That's right. As I mentioned earlier about the weather, the future where the weather can be freely changed as such technologies become utilized in the field is not far away. I think that if I can shoot flexibly, I think that the freedom of the work will increase.

Yamada: The liver of photography is empty. Even if the sun falls a little or cloudy, no matter how good the play is, it will be re-taken. It would be great if the technology that can cover it was born. Well, I want Mr. Matsuyama to be there all the time.

Ito: “Can you fix this weather?” "I'm already changing it!" Now, at the time of shooting, the lighting people check the sky all the time and take a busy shot of a sunny scene in a few clouds. However, with this technology, you don't have to worry about the weather, and the quality of the work will be greatly improved because it reduces unnecessary thoughts.

Shimogyo: Thank you for being able to focus only on where you should focus. I think that the word cover that Mr. Yamada said is good, and it is a very good environment to be able to support what I want to express with technology. I felt like the possibilities were infinite!

Matsuyama: The technology itself is colorless and transparent, and I think it is only when it is mixed with another expression to produce vivid colors. I am very excited about the new initiatives to be exhibited with movies and Ikebana in this project.
