Shinsaibashi PARCO will implement the Sustainability (Sustainable Development Goals) Campaign, a sustainable initiative that will lead to the future of the earth. Under the theme of "Good Relationship between the Earth and People [CYCLE]", we aim to coexist with healthy and graceful nature through fashion, and will lead to activities that are close to the global environment and expand the circle of circulation.

BAUM / “Coexistence with Trees”

With the theme of coexistence with trees, BAUM pursues initiatives that make everyone feel comfortable with sustainable activities. We grow mainly saplings of the same kind as oak, which is the wood used for the wooden parts of the package inside the store, and after growth, we plant trees in the BAUM Oak Forest in Iwate Prefecture. In addition, as a device that minimizes garbage, BAUM original eco bags and gift bags that can be used as they are when gifts are available. "Hydro Essence Lotion" in the image is a collaboration with wood furniture manufacturer Kalimoku Furniture Co., Ltd., and the wooden parts of the product package are recycled from scraps generated during the furniture manufacturing process and are produced at the Kalimoku factory.
