Ito: In fact, I don't know what symptoms menopause is. When you hear that you can't control your emotions and that the range of pretending is bigger than the time of "physiology", there is anxiety and fear of what will happen to your body.
Nakamura: If you are a woman who experiences menstruation, you will enter the menopause period when you get older, and the symptoms are different. Mr. Yoshida, please explain about menopause again.
Yoshida: Menopause is a symptom caused by a decrease in female hormone called "estrogen", which I mentioned in a talk about "physiology". The time when symptoms appear varies from person to person, but in the late 40s and 50s, symptoms such as hot flash appear one after another due to the decrease in menstrual menstrual menstrual menstrual menstruation and irregular cycles. It may not be caused by hormones alone, so diagnosis can be difficult, but as a treatment, it may be cured by replenishing hormones.
Nakamura: There are various symptoms of menopause, saying, "Is this menopause? “Is it a PMS?” many women are worried. It is menopause with various symptoms, but it is important to have a gynecological examination without endure.
Yoshida: You can also test the level of estrogen, so it is very important to have a test.
Ito: There are various symptoms of menopause, so I sometimes don't know whether it is internal medicine, psychosomatic medicine, or which hospital to consult. There may be many people who are worried alone.
Yoshida: That's right. First of all, it is recommended that you consult an obstetrics and gynecology department.
Nakamura: It is also important to have a medical examination to know that you are healthy. Rather than going to a hospital after something happens, I would like you to take measures such as finding a GP in advance. Finally, please give me a message to all of you.
Yoshida: Early detection and early treatment of diseases such as cervical cancer is very important. If you have any concerns, I would like you to consult an obstetrics and gynecology department or have a cancer screening so that you do not see a woman's sad face. I would like to continue working as a doctor so that you can see your happy face.
Ito: By talking about menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, etc., I felt once again that a woman's body is really a big change. However, now is an era where information can be shared with many people and options can be expanded. If there is at least one woman who is worried, I would like you to increase such options.
