ー What did you think of yourself in this exhibition "SPLIT!"?

Nakamura: First of all, because it is an exhibition at a commercial facility called PARCO, it may be easy to enter, and I think that people who are not interested in painting may be brought to someone. The entrance fee (500 yen) is not high, so I think it is an exhibition where even such people can have the impression that it was good. The goods corner is free of charge.

- "SPLIT!" exhibition can be said to be an archive exhibition that summarizes past works in a compact manner.

Nakamura: That's right. From the 15th anniversary exhibition until recently, there was an impression that the number of exhibits had increased so much that I could have the opportunity to see them in a more compact way. However, although it is compact, there are quite a few points, and when I imagined my picture, I wanted to see it! I think there is almost anything that seems to be.

The motif to draw is "Catch both inorganic and organic matter flat. If you are wrong, you can't forgive yourself."

ーRepresentative works from 20 years of painting, including music textbooks from educational arts companies and CD jackets from ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, as well as original drawings.

Nakamura: Considering the exhibition, is there any meaning that you can actually see paintings and art collections unlike 20 years ago? You're thinking about it. Now you can see high-quality pictures on the Internet, right? For example, when my generation has a collection of paintings that I like, I want to keep it at hand as a thing.

- I have to think about the meaning of exhibiting.

Nakamura: What about exhibitions and collections when you can listen to music on YouTube? To. But this time, graniph's clothes and cans of Asada candy are not substituted in JPEG. There are some things that actually have a feeling.

- This is the artwork of shirts and "Asada candy sugar" cans in collaboration with graniph. There are some things that cannot be conveyed on the Internet, such as texture and three-dimensionality.

Nakamura: Get interest there. So, this exhibition is not a regular exhibition space for PARCO, but the place where it originally sold goods at stores is also suited to my current thinking, so it feels just right. You can see it in a lighter way too.

ー What is the "experience" that you can see the original picture up close on the Internet? Is it possible to feel the amount of heat drawn by hand and the "meaning" on your skin?

Nakamura: When I'm drawing, I'm going to get my neck out (laughs). My shoulders are too tight to spit. I have a headache. But considering that, thankfully, I've been doing it for more than 20 years, did you have a little talent for painting? I finally thought about it recently.

- You can't continue without talent, right?

Nakamura: However, if that happens, talented people have something wrong with their body or something unhappy. After that, I dropped out of college, left-handed, and that kind of minorities.

-The legendary rock musician passed away early.

Nakamura: Yes. Even if you have talent, what did you sell in exchange? You're thinking about it.…I have nothing. I went to a human dog the day before yesterday, but it wasn't bad either. Right-handed, it was a college-wide award, and on the contrary, it was scary (laughs).
