In the second part of the talk, in addition to Mr. Kusakari, Mr. Kawajiri, and Mr. Ukawa, the theme of "Eiko Ishioka and Creative", MAXINE VAN-CLIFFE ARAKAWA, who is closely related to Ishioka and public and private sectors, will be on stage.

Maxine has been active as a makeup artist and stylist in New York magazines such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, and after coming to Japan, he has made great achievements as a pioneer in the new fashion wave launched by Japan, including the styling of PARCO advertisements directed by Ishioka.

MAXINE also appeared in PARCO advertising as a model.

In the second part, while looking back on past works, the story will become deeper and deeper, with the episodes of MAXINE at that time.

Maxine, who has been friends since the New York era and has been working with him after coming to Japan, said, "Eiko is my best friend. I've done a lot of work, but I really talked about love and private things that I can't talk about here."

At one scene, "Eiko told me to be naked. That's where we move, but when we get naked, we don't have a job as a stylist…There is also a story behind the scenes.

While the advertisements and commercials that MAXINE also participated in the production were reflected in the vision, Mr. Ukawa said about the work that accurately captured the times and the flow of culture and left a strong message, "There is a world like art, and although it is an advertisement, it is her wonderful thing that makes up as a work," says Kusakari, "I think Ishioka's feelings are still handed down to PARCO even 55 years after its opening."

There are many regulations, and there are differences in what can be expressed now and in the past, but many audiences listened deeply to the fact that passion for that expression was inherited.

MAXINE talked about an episode that lets you know one side of Ishioka. "Eiko lived in a pure white space. Why is it? When I heard that the pure white space is a canvas, a place to return. It was impressive to say that it was a place to be creative,” he said.

When Ishioka was in charge of costumes for the movie "Dracula" and received the Academy Award for Costume Design, Maxine said, "I was with you at this time, and I was actually interpreting." After that, it seemed difficult, and after returning to Japan, he was invited to a trip to Bali. “When you ask me when I’m going, tell me now!” So I immediately arranged a plane and a hotel and went together,” he said. “Eiko is my best friend, but very hard friend. But he's a very gentle and straight person," said MAXINE, the gentle expression, was very impressive.
