As one of the highlights of the Shinsaibashi PARCO CHAOS JAM ’24 event, DOMMUNE × SHINSAIBASHI PARCO SPECIAL PROGRAM 2024 was held over 2 days on October 10 & 11.

On the first day, "55 years of advertising between Eiko Ishioka and PARCO" and on the second day, "Music History of Hearing Media/Music History of Body Media" and a lot of audiences gathered for the content that was not heard.

In this Features, close to the pattern of the first day!

It was a very valuable time to talk about Eiko Ishioka, where many of them were handed down as enduring masterpieces!

While the talk was exciting, ELLI ARAKAWA, a daughter of MAXINE, who is active as a model and has gained global reputation as a techno DJ, also appeared. Starting with the episode that triggered the model debut, the story that taught me memories and art when traveling with Ishioka-san, and the development of a new aspect of digging into a person called Eiko Ishioka.

In addition, the advertisement of 1977, which is still handed down as a masterpiece, was filming local women around India, Sudan, and Ethiopia, but in India, I was able to hear the back of the production that he negotiated with men for three weeks to obtain approval for filming.

In the 1979 commercial, the shaku, which had been particular about 15 seconds so far, has been reduced to 1 minute and 30 seconds, even if you say that there may have been some kind of change in mind, Eiko Ishioka's charm.

Finally, when we asked about the existence of Eiko Ishioka, MAXINE spoke this way. "Eiko is a Neverstop. And I think he was doing what he liked and did what he liked.” The whole audience was able to reaffirm that the passion of "Neverstop", exactly as this word, was at the root of her work, and the second part was opened.

DOMMUNE × SHINSAIBASHI PARCO SPECIAL PROGRAM 2024 The 55-year history of advertising between Eiko Ishioka and PARCO entered DJ time by ELLI ARAKAWA under the theme of "Dedicated to EIKO ISHIOKA".
