Therefore, this time, we will introduce an exciting art event suitable for the start of the memorable first anniversary. From new works by up-and-coming artists and popular exhibitions that have swept the world. I tried every attraction!

「P.O.N.D. mini」 ※Until 4F/November 30 (Tuesday)
At the SkiiMa Gallery, located in the coworking space on the 4th floor, there is a business trip version of “P.O.N.D.,” a new cultural festival “P.O.N.D.,” which mobilized 5,000 people in 10 days. From the exhibition venue in Shibuya, five up-and-coming creators suitable for the exhibition at this gallery participated. P.O.N.D., which succeeded the philosophy of "Discovering and supporting new talent" of the predecessor event "Shibukull Festival." What kind of thoughts did the young creators participating this time put into their work? I asked each one with my future prospects.
■Yuka Numata (modern artist)
Profile / 1992 from Chiba Prefecture. Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, and is currently enrolled. In 2019, he was selected as a scholarship student for the Ishibashi Foundation and studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. The changes due to the expansion of virtual spaces such as VR, AR, and 3DCG are expressed through installations and iron beads.

"Hand with free way cola"
A German friend told me, “This tastes real coke.” What is the real coke for him? In the first place, I thought it was difficult to share the senses of taste and other things and it was difficult to convey, so I created it if I could visually show the gap in sympathy at that time. I wonder if using artificial turf can lead to the ambiguity of real and fake.
Gallery is often located a little away from the city center, so as a writer there is a gallery in a commercial facility, so it is very fresh and happy that you can easily see the work together with shopping and meals. So, in the future, I would like to continue to make it so that more people can see it, such as increasing opportunities to exhibit at commercial facilities and exhibiting overseas.
■ayaka endo (photographer)
Profile / Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. He held his first solo exhibition in July 2021. He imitates human intervention in nature through digital processing, and creates photographic works on the theme of animistic view of nature.
I often take photographs on the theme of natural objects, and I often make series that print photos on cloth. This time, by printing tulips on a large cloth, we made flowers with cute images look strong and scary, and we hope that you will experience an extraordinary perspective that changes to each person's perception.
Future Prospects
I like animals and flowers, and I like natural things, so I keep taking pictures. I am also interested in the feeling of materials such as cloth, so I hope to make works with a wide range of materials in the future.
■Hana Watanabe (Videographer, visual artist)
Profile/ Born in 1999. Based in Tokyo, she is a member of the sister audiovisual tamanaramen. He creates works focusing on the loneliness inherent in individuals and the loneliness of the city.
He had TMJ disorder in the summer and seemed to be coming from stress when he went to the hospital, which was due to being psychologically hunted down by a close person. At the same time, there is an acquaintance who was involved in a social incident, and the child has absolutely painful things, but I can't accept the pain and I can't embrace it. When I was thinking about what to do, I tried to make sure that there is no connection between my pain and someone's pain. At the same time, I can't tell my acquaintance directly, but with the desire to tell me that it's okay. I don't have to tell you.
Future Prospects
As is the case with this exhibition, the exhibition was held for the first time in Kansai, so people in Kansai can see it. I hope that we will continue to create opportunities to see works in various places in the future.
■Toraju Kikuchi (artist)
Profile/ Born in 1998. Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. By dyeing the cloth using Yuzen dyeing, a traditional dyeing technique, and deforming the motif, he creates works that wear air and decorate the space.

Because my mother is involved in textiles, I grew up in a home with a piece of cloth, so I have a strong attachment to cloth and I am learning a thousand meals at school. This time, by dyeing objects that cannot be determined, such as signs of people who usually see or plants, on a cloth, stretching them into the exhibition space, pasting them, and putting them together with invisible air to visualize them, I created the theme of adding value unique to here.
Future Prospects
I would like to continue to exhibit in various spaces using cloth. I think that the way of stretching will change depending on each location, such as in the city, ruins, amusement parks and stations, and the way of seeing will change. I would like to use the technique of dyeing, which was originally created to decorate people, to convey the expression of cloth and the fun of crafts.
■Shuzo Tajima (artist, musician)
Profile / Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Oil Painting in 2021. In 2018, he received the CAF Award Jury Award. He mainly produces paintings, installations and videos. He is also engaged in music activities as a wrapper/beat maker of the hip hop unit "PINIC YOU".

Smartphone cameras are evolving more and more, and when you look at the photos you take, everything fits perfectly. It was developed in order to accurately capture reality with the vision of a camera, but in reality it is far from what humans see as the accuracy and technology increase. I feel creepy that the focus is on everything and the same resolution, and the light hits everything. Human beings give priority order and concentrating consciousness and blur the surroundings, so when their functions and perceptions are weakened or out, the world may endlessly approach noise like a sandstorm on TV. There will be no front and rear, there will be no front and rear of history and meaning, and everything will have the same resolution. I painted it because I wanted to do that.
Future Prospects
In the future, I would like to work on expressions that use images in my graduation work at a university, not much particular about paintings, but also using other media.

This exhibition can be enjoyed free of charge at the coworking space. Please experience the work directly with the up-and-coming creators who will be responsible for the future art scene!
