STONE ISLAND (Stone Island) and New Balance (Newbalance) have announced the STONE ISLAND under a long-term partnership based on material research and advanced design. | The second installment of NEW BALANCE 574 GHOST will be launched on March 11 (Wednesday). This work is based on the model, which received a great response when it was announced in September 2025, and uses coloring inspired by the 26th spring and summer new capsule collection "STONE ISLAND GHOST".
STONE ISLAND reinterpreted the immortal masterpiece "574" representing New Balance | In NEW BALANCE 574 GHOST, as a collaborative design, we pursued a sense of unity that leads to the world view of GHOST by finishing up from upper to midsole with monochrome suede. In addition, by adding additional padding to the Shootan, the opening, and the entire upper, the 574 original form was reinterpreted to a soft, rounded balloon silk. The comfort of everyday use is even greater.
The upper is tailored by stitch-and-turn method, and by removing the overlap of the sewing fee, a three-dimensional line reminiscent of GHOST's padded garments are drawn, highlighting the softness and comfort. The STONE ISLAND PRODUCT RESEARCH logo and the heel tab are contrasted with the smooth body. Shoo Tan has a felt compass logo patch of the same color, and a graphic print on the insole. In addition, lightweight EVA and ENCAP mid-sole with excellent impact absorption provide comfort and stability. Custom Shoo lace with ridge processing reminds you of the details found in the GHOST piece.
Available in three colors: POLVERE, BLUE ARDESIA, and CORTECCIA, it reflects the color palette of GHOST inspired by the California landscape, reminiscent of cool lakes and dry deserts.
In addition, it will appear with special specifications contained in a special monochrome package corresponding to each color.
