Kimura will hold the "Kimura Achievement Concert-Alphabet Knee Attack Vol.2-" at Osaka on Friday, December 8 and Tokyo on December 20 (Wed) and 21 (Thu) to commemorate the 30-year-old milestone. I heard about aspirations in my 30s and enthusiasm for the event.

―Do you have any aspirations at the age of 30 this year?

"Even if I say that I'm in my 30s, I don't think I'll change myself in particular. As before, I want to take on challenges.”

―Last year, a concert was held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their debut. Are you planning to have a different event?

"The last time we were able to hold this event was because of the generous support of our seniors. This year, I would like to work on my own initiative as much as possible with the meaning of "self-independent". Before I finished last year's event, I thought I wasn't a person who could do a concert, and I was worried that I wouldn't have someone help me. In that sense, I may have crossed the wall inside of me by experiencing the 10th anniversary concert. Unlike last year, which expressed Kimura's achievement as an actor, this year I want to be a stage where I can deliver my life-size."

―Osaka will be held on the day of your birthday on December 8th (Friday). Did you plan your schedule intentionally?

"At the end of last year's 10th anniversary concert, "Would you like to do it again at the 30th anniversary next year?" I was recommended. I was feeling up at the end of the performance, so I said, "I'll do it" with that momentum (laughs). I hope you can give something to the meaning of having a concert in Osaka on the day of your birthday. It would be nice if you could see me when I was 30 years old.”

―Mr. Kimura has many appearances in musicals, right? It's a stage where you perform the same song, but is it different from the concert?

"In the musical, there are a lot of actors other than me, and the set is well-built. There is little anxiety that I practice in practice while imagining the scenery of the day, and I challenge with the feeling that I will achieve my results so far. On the other hand, the set of concerts is simple, and even if you cry or laugh, you have to stand on stage alone. Even if the set list is fixed, there is a freshness that you do not know how to fall depending on you. That’s why we get so much on the day of the show.”

―You also like to sing with snacks.

"I like to sing Showa Kayo with shochu and whiskey in one hand with a snack like a local uncle or aunt attending. You want to sing when you’re drinking, right? I don't dare to choose karaoke because I want people who don't know to listen to it and get a fresh reaction. At first, I was smoked because a young child came, but by singing Showa Kayo to the generation of customers, I enjoyed the process of being warmly welcomed. That said, I like the atmosphere of the place, so I would like you to listen to it as BGM while drinking and talking. I don't know if I can say Showa Kayo, but Eiichi Otaki's "Happy End" is my 18th."

―I was looking forward to the set list of the day.

"I haven't seen the whole picture yet, so I'd like to get stuck from here. We are planning to incorporate music of a variety of genres, not just musicals. I have a strong desire to expand my potential, so I want to incorporate it more and more if it leads to it.”
