―Do you have any aspirations when you turn 30 this year?

"I wonder if I'm in my thirties, I'm not particularly different. As before, I would like to value the attitude of taking on challenges."

―Last year, a concert was held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his debut. Are you planning to have a different event again?

"The last time we were able to hold it because of the generous support of our seniors. This year, I would like to do my best on my own initiative, with the meaning of being self-sufficient. Before I finished last year's event, I thought I wasn't a person who could do a concert, and I was worried that someone would help me. In that sense, having experienced the 10th anniversary concert may have crossed the wall inside me. Unlike last year, which expressed Kimura's achievement as an actor, this year I want to create a stage where I can deliver my life-size self."

―Osaka will be held on the day of the birthday of December 8th (Friday). Did you plan your schedule intentionally?

"At the end of last year's 10th anniversary concert," Why don't you do it again at the 30th anniversary next year? " It was recommended. It was when I was feeling up after the performance, so I said, "I'll do it" with that momentum (laughs). I wish I could give something to the meaning of having a concert in Osaka on the day of my birthday. I would be glad if you could come to see me when I was just 30 years old."

―Kimura also has many appearances in musicals. It's the stage where the same song is performed, is there any difference from the concert?

"In the musical, there are a lot of performers other than me, and the set is well built. While practicing in practice while imagining the scenery of the day, I have little anxiety, and I am challenging with the feeling that I will achieve my achievements so far. On the other hand, the concert has a simple set, and even if you cry or laugh, you have to stand alone on the stage. Even if the set list is fixed, there is a freshness that you don't know how to fall on your own. That's why there's a lot of things you can get on the day of production."

―You also like to sing in snacks.

"I like singing Showa Kayo with shochu and whiskey in one hand, with snacks like local uncles and aunts attending. If you drink alcohol, you want to sing. I don't dare to choose karaoke because I want someone I don't know to listen to and get a fresh reaction. At first, I was smoked when a young child came, but by singing Showa Kayo to the customer generation, the process of being warmly welcomed was fun. That said, I like the atmosphere of the place, so I would like you to listen to it as BGM while drinking and talking each one. I don't know if it can be called Showa Kayo, but Eiichi Otaki's "happy ending" is my 18th."

―I'm looking forward to the set list on the day.

"I haven't seen the whole picture yet, so I wish I could keep it from here. We are planning to incorporate songs of various genres, not just musicals. I have a strong desire to expand my potential, so I would like to incorporate it more and more if it leads to it."
