"I & I STORE" is a used clothing store in Shibuya, Tokyo, packed with items that feel the culture of skating, centered on used clothes from the United States and Western Europe. The store-sponsored pop-up “SUMMIT QUALITY” was held from July 10th to 19th at the event space on the basement floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO. In addition to "I & I STORE", 3 shops + 1 brand including "DAILY DOSE quality stuff", Osaka and Horie "ECHOES" in Zushi, Kanagawa Prefecture, and "Tento", which develops handmade knit hats. The furniture such as lights and chairs that color the space will be selected by the antique shop "CopyArt Collective", which is scheduled to open in Ame Village, Osaka in August this year, making it a space where you can enjoy not only clothes but also accessories and furniture. Each lineup carefully selected according to the image of Shinsaibashi PARCO was very interesting, and the event ended with great success.

This time, we interviewed the staff of 3 shops + 1 brand who opened the store together, mainly by Teru Tanami, the signboard staff of "I & I STORE", who also works as a model and DJ. "I didn't think I could pop up in a little more than a year after I started," Fukai says. The bright orange pants look great with her charming look.
"I left a major select shop last March, but I couldn't go out because of COVID-19, so I started knitting as a hobby. It's more fun than I thought I'm knitting with carelessness, and now I'm developing it while collaborating with various shops around pop-ups. I hope that by incorporating it into everyday clothes, such as high-brands and men's-like fashion, it will be an item that enhances the identity of that person," says designer Ayaka Fukai.
